Michael Dean’s opened in 1998 as the culmination of a dream envisioned by owner Dean Ogan. Designed to be an alternative to the chains proliferating across the country, Michael Dean’s provides its guests with a superior dining experience, with a menu featuring casual American fare, fresh seafood and specialties prepared in the wood-fired oven.

Michael Dean’s is anything but formal. We invite you to join us for lunch every weekday and dinner any night. For an even more relaxed vibe, check out the Oyster Bar every Thursday, Friday and Saturday when our DJ will be getting his North Raleigh groove on.  Even before you enter, you’ll smell the wood oven in action, and once you’re inside, you’ll see why we say “where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”
